About
Each Flow combines two of the seven lower Sefirot. The Day sets the outer vessel, as in the seven days of creation: Sunday Chesed, Monday Gevurah, Tuesday Tiferes, Wednesday Netzach, Thursday Hod, Friday Yesod, Shabbos Malchus. The Hebrew day begins in the evening, so from 6:00PM the next day's Sefirah is in force. The Hour carries the inner flow, ruled in turn by the seven stars in the order of שצ"ם חנכ"ל (Shabbos 156a), each star bearing the Sefirah of the day it rules. The Flow is named as the Omer is counted: Gevurah she'b'Chesed is Gevurah within Chesed.
The dominant Flow of Divine Life-force and energy changes each day on the hour. While it is possible to access any Divine Flow at all times, a specific Divine Flow is more easily accessible when it is dominant.
